PRACTICE

Skin problems

For greasy hair, mix 1-2 drops of essential oil into your shampoo. For psoriasis and eczema, apply 3 drops of essential oil in 10 millilitres of water and massage the afflicted region.

You can also use three drops of essential oil (EO) in one hundred millilitres of argan oil, shake well, and then apply before leaving.

WARNING

Steer clear of the eyes and mucous membranes.
Use caution while using skin irritants directly on the skin. Put another way, dilute strongly with vegetable oil (1% EO in 99% VO). At 0.4%, reduce to prevent phototoxicity.

Generally, at least 48 hours before using the product, test it by dabbing a small amount on your wrist or in the crook of your elbow.
Because it is nephrotoxic, you shouldn’t use it if you have gallstones.
