The isotonic solution in Mercurochrome® Laboratories ear spray, sprayed directly into the ear canal using a protected nozzle, respects the pH and integrity of the ear canal. It facilitates the removal of impurities and excess earwax before a blockage forms. Mercurochrome® Laboratories Ear Spray is a medical device indicated for regular hygiene of the external ear canal and the prevention of earwax blockages. Can be used independently from 12 years of age. For children aged 30 months to 12 years, this bottle must be used by parents or responsible adults.

-P412 Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C / 122 °F.

- – Mercurochrome Ear Spray is also recommended for hearing aid users (after removing the hearing aids).
- – Never use Mercurochrome Ear Spray without the transparent cone. This protects the ear canal from irritation or injury.
- – Do not attempt to insert the nozzle into the ear canal, as this may cause irritation.
- – During use, for best results, the bottle should not be tilted more than 45°.
- – If they appear dirty, you can rinse the tip and with warm water before using in the other ear to avoid contamination.
- – Applying liquid to the ear may cause normal temporary effects: discomfort, blocked ear or loss of balance, noises or hearing loss.
- – Do not store the bottle in the refrigerator, as the cold may cause unpleasant effects (pain, dizziness). – Keep the bottle and nozzle out of the reach and sight of children.
- – The product is for use in the ears only.
- – Avoid contact with the eyes: in case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. If pain or irritation occurs, contact your doctor.
- – Store the bottle in an upright position.
Consult a doctor or ENT specialist:
– Before applying the product to the ear canal if you experience dizziness, balance problems, buzzing, hearing loss, tinnitus (ringing in the ears) or if you have a medical or surgical history involving the ears or vestibular system.
– If you experience pain or have any doubts about the integrity of your eardrum. – If you think you already have a wax blockage. – If you are using another local ear treatment. – Before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
– If discomfort persists after using the product: this may be due to the presence of a wax plug or another hearing disorder.
Contraindications:
- – If you are allergic to any of the ingredients (particularly benzalkonium chloride).
- – If you have a perforated eardrum or a history of perforated eardrums.
- – If you are wearing a transtympanic aerator (yoyo).
- – If there is a foreign body in the ear canal.
- – If you have otitis or ear discharge.
- – In children under 30 months of age.
