It’s an earth salt from mines, unlike sea salt extracted from salt works.
Its name comes from its intense bluish hues. This intensely beautiful blue comes from the sylvinite present in the mine minerals, a compound of potassium, of which it is very rich. It is not uniformly blue, just some crystals are tinged with blue. It’s one of the rarest, purest and most precious salts in the world!
You can use it everywhere, just like conventional salt. In terms of taste, it’s a fairly strong but subtle salt. Its taste is mellow, but more present than Himalayan pink salt or Assal salt pearls. In addition to its salty taste, it adds an almost spicy touch that evolves into a subtle, almost lemony acidity.
Although it can be used everywhere, it is ideal for seasoning fish, seafood and fine dishes such as foie gras, truffles, poultry, salads, steamed vegetables and scallops.
Best used after cooking.
Fine crystals can be used as is, and crystals can be used as coarse salt, or in a mill, as its dry structure makes it easy to use.
Himalayan pink salt with 1.1% black truffle and black pepper – 35g
Pink Himalayan salt, comes from the Khewra salt mines in Pakistan. It is a natural rock salt known for its rich mineral composition and numerous health benefits.
Mineral-rich Himalayan salt is ideal for body detoxification. Its benefits soothe the skin and stimulate circulation, relieving muscular pain.
Its intense, complex flavor adds a unique dimension to many dishes (buttered pasta, risotto, eggs, duck, or grilled meats).
