💊 Indications

Imodium Lingual is indicated for the short-term treatment of acute, transient diarrhea in adults and adolescents aged 15 years and older. It is intended to complement dietary measures and is not a substitute for rehydration therapy, which is essential in cases of diarrhea.

📋 Dosage & Administration

• Initial Dose: Take 2 lyophilisates (equivalent to 4 mg of loperamide) in a single dose.

• Subsequent Doses: If diarrhea persists, take 1 additional lyophilisate after each unformed stool.

• Maximum Dose: Do not exceed 6 lyophilisates per day.

• Duration: Do not use for more than 2 consecutive days.

Administration: Place the lyophilisate on the tongue and allow it to dissolve completely; it can also be dissolved in a small amount of water if preferred. Do not chew or swallow the tablet whole.
