Preparation
How to Prepare Alsa Yogurt Preparation 8G:
- Gather Ingredients:
- 1 sachet of Alsa Yogurt Preparation 8G
- 1 liter of milk (whole, low-fat, or skimmed, preferably at room temperature)
- Optional: sugar or sweetener to taste
- Heat the Milk:
- Gently heat the milk to about 40°C (104°F). This is the ideal temperature for activating the yogurt cultures. If you don’t have a thermometer, the milk should feel warm but not hot to the touch.
- Mix the Yogurt Preparation:
- In a small bowl, dissolve the Alsa Yogurt Preparation in a few tablespoons of the warm milk to create a smooth paste.
- Combine:
- Gradually whisk the paste back into the rest of the warm milk until fully combined.
- Incubation:
- Pour the mixture into clean jars or a yogurt maker.
- Cover the jars with lids or a clean cloth to keep them warm.
- Let the yogurt sit undisturbed in a warm place for 8-12 hours. The longer you let it incubate, the thicker and tangier it will become.
- Check Consistency:
- After the incubation period, check if the yogurt has set to your desired thickness.
- Chill:
- Once set, refrigerate the yogurt for a few hours to cool it down before serving.
- Serve:
- Enjoy plain or top with fruits, granola, honey, or nuts.
