Perrier: Effervescent Elegance in a Bottle
Perrier offers naturally carbonated mineral water with intense bubbles, a refreshing taste, and its signature green bottle. This iconic French brand sources its water from the Vergèze spring in the south of France. People around the world have enjoyed Perrier for over a century. Unlike many carbonated waters, Perrier delivers natural effervescence and minerals straight from the source. During bottling, the process carefully preserves the original balance of gas and mineral content to maintain its unique character.
Its crisp, clean taste makes it a favorite for drinking on its own, serving with meals, or using as a mixer in cocktails and mocktails. It’s calorie-free, sugar-free, and has just the right amount of fizz to feel refreshing but not overpowering.
In short? It’s hydration with sophistication.
🥂 Perrier vs. Badoit
-
Perrier is the bubbliest and most energetic of the three—great when you want a bold sparkling water hit.
- Badoit is the most subtle, almost silky, and often preferred by chefs for not overwhelming flavors in food.
Brand | Origin | Bubble Style | Taste Profile | Best For |
---|---|---|---|---|

Badoit | Saint-Galmier, France | Fine, gentle bubbles | Light, delicate, subtle minerals | Everyday sipping, light meals |
What’s the difference with Classic Perrier?
Perrier water is naturally carbonated at source. To produce the contents of the bottles we sell, we first separate the water and the gas. Then the water is enriched with gas from the source (by reinjecting the desired amount of gas into the water).
Gas content in classic Perrier: 7 g/L
Gas content in Perrier fines bubbles: 5 g/L
It’s also low in sodium, which is a major advantage these days, especially for people on a strict diet and those with high blood pressure.
Drink chilled!
