Gluten-Free Coquillettes Pasta Gratin (French-Style Mac & Cheese)

📝 Ingredients (serves 4):

  • 250g Panzani Gluten-Free Coquillettes
  • 30g butter
  • 30g gluten-free flour (e.g. rice flour or cornstarch)
  • 500ml milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 150g grated cheese (Gruyère, Emmental, or cheddar)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
  • Breadcrumbs (gluten-free) for topping

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).

  2. Cook the coquillettes in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter, then stir in the flour to form a roux.

  4. Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly to avoid lumps. Let it thicken over medium heat.

  5. Stir in the cheese, season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
